About Parklands Country Garden & Lodges

Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges is a secluded country retreat set within 28 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, reminiscent of a European great estate, with its haven of beauty and tranquillity whilst offering a secluded and relaxed atmosphere. Situated in one of Australia’s most beautiful destinations, the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains and with the picturesque Grose Valley and Govetts Leap lookout right at your doorstep, Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges is only 130 km west of Sydney, travel by car takes approximately 2 hours.

Our History

Historical Blue Mountains estate Karaweera, developed by businessman John Pope in the late 19th century, featured extensive gardens, orchards, a swimming pool, and more. After his death in 1912, his son Parke Pope added a golf course. In the 1990s, it became Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges, restored to its former glory with new amenities, including a spa, conference facility, and a vast private kitchen garden.
